Nicholas Van Campen Taylor, known as Van Taylor[1] (born August 1, 1972), is an American businessman and politician from Plano, Texas. He is the U.S. Representative-elect for Texas' 3rd congressional district. A veteran of the Iraq War and a member of the Republican Party, he has represented District 8 in the Texas Senate for a single term beginning in 2015. He also previously served in the Texas House of Representatives for District 66 in western Collin County.
